Police have a number of leads to follow, but finding the culprit(s) is going to be a complicated task in light of the recent highly charged public debate as to whether the Easter Bunny should be dumped and replaced by a more iconic creature.
So if, like me, you are wondering where your easter eggs are then it would pay not to expect delivery any time soon.

The Easter Bunny has been officially succeeded by the Easter Kiwi. The unfancied Easter Alpaca and Easter Dan Carter were considered before falling by the wayside.
